API call to list all devices against a domain

Hi,Does anyone know how to use the API to return the name and ip address of all the devices held in the database for a single domain?I have no problem using the API to connect, select the tenant & domain, and so on. I can see API calls for returning individual devices (if you provide the name and/or ip address).But what if you want to return all of them.For example:Say my NetBrain has 500 devices against a domain. And I have another IP address source (my company’s single truth list), which has 480. I need to get the list of 500 to compare against the 480 so that I can delete the (now obsolete) 20.Yes, I could manually do the deletion, but that is laborious.regardsDeclan

Displaying cisco gre tunnels in path drawing

I have a path drawing from A-Z, how can I make it show active gre-tunnels as well on the same drawing only for Z device?I am also trying to recall how to add new node/ device on current path map and see connections from/to it? I have done that before but cannot recall it. Thanks

how to draw device's L3 gateway using python script

I have been dabbling with the Qapp Python scripting lately and i want to build a qapp wherein the user can have multiple end device ips as input and have their L2 connected switch and L3 Gateways automatically drawn on the map using one-ip-table information. However, looks like the gateways cannot be resolved by one ip table that’s why it is not being drawn. Then i noticed when the end device is drawn, i am able to see the L3 neighbor by extending the plus sign. Is there a Qapp API or a combination of them that can see the L3 neighbor? Netbrain one-ip : Not found device type for IDs

Hi,I’m using Netbrain 10.0a and the Rest API to get the One-IP table. API returns serverType and switchType by their ID but I want the full name. serverType string The type of the device that the IP belongs to. switchType string The type of the switch that the IP connects to.  I found old Netbrain documentations on the net about IDs and their name. For example: 2004 = Cisco Nexus SwitchBut I can’t find the information for these IDs :1005100930080Can someone help me? Thank you.

How can I create a inventory report from devices on my map?

I have maybe a strange request.  To help support audit and compliance reporting, I want to create an inventory report for each of my maps that I can export from the product.I see that in the reporting interface I have a report that will export all devices, but how to do I create something on a site-by-site basis?Thanks in advance!

How is hiding sensitive info in config works?

I found some sensitive info has not been encrypted as ***, what should be the reason?As I know we have an option in advanced setting of the domain management page, but I dont know how to confiugre it.

The historical data of the device and parser does not exist in the database

Greetings,I am new to NetBrain. I am currently learning how to write Parsers and Qapps. I am running into a problem with my Qapp. I am not getting the desired result when I run my Qapp against any current Baseline (Configuration) or Live Data. I am getting the following messages in the execution log: 1   3:59:15 PM: Start to run Qapp "Cisco_IOS_XE_Switch_Compliance_Check"2   3:59:22 PM: Run Qapp on 0 device group(s), 0 site(s), 0 path(s), xxx device(s)3   3:59:22 PM: Run Qapp on xxx qualified devices4   3:59:22 PM: The Process Id is 243123.5   3:59:23 PM: No data for "NET_DEVICE_1337 + Cisco_IOS_XE_Switch_Compliance_Check". How to increase the route table entry limit?

I have a router that failed to retrieve route table, the live access checks fine. The retrieval log says following, how can I increase the route table entry limit to retrieve the route table? The number of entries(156321) in the route table cmd show route table inet.0|no-more exceeds the limit of route entries.

If users have been synchronized to NetBrain with TACACS, do I need to set up those users manually again?

My NetBrain server is already synchronized NetBrain with TACACS. If TACACS is already running correctly with NetBrain, do I need to set up manually the user in NetBrain "Users" menu? I think this is not necessary. Could somebody please confirm? Thanks.

Adding large number of devices to a single map

Hi all,I have a list of 50+ devices (hostnames) in a file which I would like to add to a single map. They are spread among many existing groups. Is there a way how to have them added to a map all at once? Like “Add to a map every hostname from this csv file” kind of at once.Or do I have to add them one by one from search menu?Related question, once I am finished with discovery process in domain management, is there a way to immediately put all discovered devices into a single map?Thank you for your timeJan Dudic

API Support - User Details

Where is the best place to get support for API related questions?  The API is maintained on GitHub, which has its own built in issue tracker.  Our support contract gives me access to the support portal where I can open tickets.  The Exchange gives me access to the Netbrain community. Which is the “best” place to get support for API issues?  Specifically, when I send an authenticated request to the CMDB/Users API endpoint and I provide the authentication server, username, tenant, and domain parameters, I get back just basic user information for the given user.  If I don’t specify anything except the admin account name I get back a lot more data.  I’m assuming by not specifying tenant and domain, the API is pulling data at the system level for the username instead of the domain level.  For user tracking and auditing, I need to be able to get back the detailed data for domain users as well as system level users. Sample of what I get back for domain users with external authentication:[{

Enable telnet/ssh via third party tool

I’ve enabled this option in NB 10 Integrated Edition. However, I cannot find where to set the path to the 3rd party SSH/Telnet client. Any help is appreciated.
