Network Intent Replication Logic not showing for all devices in ADT

Im trying to create a ADT for compliance check when I’m replicating the intent to the ADT for some of the devices it is not showing up, from what I can see its because the parser is not grabbing any variables from the configuration, is there a way to bypass so the intent will show up even if there is nothing being parsed?

Diff of vlans on multiple devices

Hello, I do have 4 cisco leave switches in a DC and I would like to check if all of them have the same vlans and vlan description on it.The possibel diff between the 4 shall be shown to the user.An Q-APP or an Intent would be great. It shall be the same functionality as a runbook (Diff) provides but for n switches and in an automation.A golden template would not work here as we do have multiple DC`s with different vlan´s, so we just need a comparism possibility here.br

Trying to find if a certain value exists

How to create One-IP Table intent that let you query IP Address or MAC from One-IP table via NB ChatBot ?

We have been asked to setup NB Chatbot and let you query the One-IP table with ‘IP Address or MAC” and get the results of Connected Switch port, Gateway, LanSegment information within the Bot. currently the Chatbot accepts inputs via ‘Intent, Intent Template or ADT’ we have to use one of these. so is there way we can define intent to call ‘One-IP table’ to get the results via chatbot ?

Parse Configuration File in Json format

I see an option option to parse json tables, however, I am not able to populate the “Data Scope”, which prevents me from moving forward. map hierarchy

Could anybody share some success story how to arrange a NetBrain map hierarchy for big sites?When there is a huge site with hundreds/thousands of devices, it would be worth to start with a top level map showing how particular buildings are connected each to the others.And then to go deeper to particular buildings, floors, racks …I’d like to create site maps containing devices plus icons representing links to other maps. But with site maps restrictions like “any device can be visible in a single leaf map only” and “no device can be visible in a container site, just leaf sites” I don’t see any easy way how to create a site map hierarchy. Thanks,Milan

CSV report from Python script in QApp

Hello!Is there a way to export a CSV file by using the “Script” node in a QApp? I want to filter a table with more complex logic than the “Basic Output” or “Subtable” nodes that a QApp can provide, and then export it to a CSV file. Thank you!

Can some one help me out with the procedure to configure an email alert system that can notify a NetBrain Admin when either the MongoDB Server or Windows/Linux Server gets disconnected as displayed in the Service Monitor? Thanks!

How do I validate configurations in our environment to ensure consistency.

Can anyone advise if there is a way to validate a base configuration to other like devices to ensure compliance and our standards are being followed.For example, I have a device or model that I would like to ensure all other devices are identical such asLogging AAA/TACACS ACL’s NTPMy approach, which doesn’t seem to be working was Create a Parser to capture Configuration for text fields that I would like to ensure are consistent. Create a NI for prior fields that need to match. Created a specific test group for selected devices.However, when I run the NI, it only compares the fields that I selected to the previous baseline for the device, not the device I want it to model.Any advise or direction appreciated. Thanks.

How do I make a NI as a blank template so it can be easily reused?

Am I missing something, There doesn’t seem to be an easy way to duplicate a preexisting NI to another device?I created a parser for a select device, built a NI based on said parser everything looks good with output that can be mirrored to other devices, however if saved as template the original device that was used is listed.If I then open it and duplicate NI for needed device then remove the original it will works, If I use the NI I built and load into as a Network Intent Cluster, I can run the same NI on multiple devices that I specific in a particular device group.I want to be able to have someone to have the ability to add said NI to any Runbook on a dynamic map they built and add NI to their map without the original device created from the parser.Can anyone advise if this is possible or direct me in the right direction. Any help is appreciated. Thanks :)

Tune 111 error codes

Hello Everyone, I am looking at the devices under Fine Tune/ CLI Configurations failed.  I have over 1400 devices that can pull CLI Configurations and a few are failing to pull information due to 111 errors.   I tried the setup that worked for the other devices and manually added my own login credentials under the tune process and it fails. Parser for NXOS Radius Groups

I am having issue creating a parser for NXOS radius groups.   We recently migrated from one set of radius servers to another.   I would like to be able to parse the AAA groups and pull out the group name, servers part of the group, and any particular settings.   aaa group server radius radius     server 10.1.2.3    server 10.1.2.4     deadtime 0    use-vrf default    no source-interfaceaaa group server radius Active-AAA     server 10.2.3.4    server 10.2.3.5     deadtime 0    use-vrf default    source-interface mgmt0Seems like no matter what I do the parser will only pull first svr configured.

Configuration change CLI commands

Hello! Is there a way to run configuration change CLI commands (for example “conf t” → “banner login ‘some banner’” → “exit” → “copy running-config startup-config”)? I saw that you can run show type CLI commands through benchmarks, but the config change ones don’t seem to work. Thank you

QApp Python Script checking if GDT Table Variable is empty not working pythonic way?

Greetings, I just ran into an interesting problem: In Qapp, when I script a GDT Variable to check if a another GDT Table or Table Variable is empty, it does not work using pythonic way. How can I get to check if a Table Attribute (list) is empty or not without coming up with other creative solutions? Basically, the Attribute (list) or Table appears to never be empty despite containing no data. BID Table has _device, id and mac_limit attributes.GDT Table has attribute “note” that I use for scripting.When I check if BID Table (list) or BID.bid attribute (list) is empty is doesn’t return true for empty using pythonic way:#Check if BID.bid (list) is empty:if not $BID.bid:  $cell = “PASSED: Bridge-Domains are not configured”. Although empty, it doesn’t match and continues to go through next else statement: The value returned is “None”. In the note, I run the following script:try:    if $mpls_ldp is None:        $cell = "NOT APPLICABLE: Device is not a PE Device."    else:        if not $BID

Temperature Check Runbook

Hi Guys, Is there a built in Qapp/Runbook for temperature checks on devices. A few days back power went out partially in one of our mdf closets. We didnt realize the temperatures went over the threshold until one of our engineers went inside the room. We are now having discussions as to why our SNMP/DNAC tools never alerted us, and I think this would be a great idea for creating a runbook so we have constant checks on our devices.Trying to see if there is anything built in runbooks to start my work off, does anyone have an idea or has done something similar.P.S.I know creating a parser would be the best way to start, but I dont know if there is a simpler way of addressing my temperature issue.V/R 6ix

Parser with multiple variables

Hello I’m trying to create a parser for repeated use in my company. My goal is to identify intrefaces that haven’t been used in over 6 months by using the “sh int” command and parsing the “Last input” portion of the output.GigabitEthernet1/0/19 is down, line protocol is down (notconnect)   Hardware is Gigabit Ethernet, address is 1111.1111.111 (bia 1111.1111.111)  Description: Example  MTU 1500 bytes, BW 1000000 Kbit/sec, DLY 10 usec,      reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 1/255  Encapsulation ARPA, loopback not set  Keepalive set (10 sec)  Auto-duplex, Auto-speed, media type is 10/100/1000BaseTX  input flow-control is on, output flow-control is unsupported   ARP type: ARPA, ARP Timeout 04:00:00  Last input 6w4d, output 6w4d, output hang never In theory this should be easy but because of how Cisco shows the dates it is fairly hard to put into a string and parse it. I have this so far as to identify interfaces:$int is $int_status, line protocol isAnd this for the last input port

How can I ignore a network device's change password prompt?

Hi,My ssh from the Front Server to a network switch fails because the switch responds with a message: Your password has exceeded the maximum lifetime. Please change the password for better protection of your network. Do you want to change it now (Y/N) [N]  ?As the task cannot answer this question, it just times-out the connection.Using the CLI, I can type N and get CLI access.But how can that be done in a discover task?
