Has anyone tackled this beast? I am trying to setup routing via Velocloud Edge devices. has anyone setup a parser to populate a table containing license information for cisco switches?

Greetings, I have many Qapps that each generate a CSV Export File. I need to combine, roll-up the CSV Export Files into a single CSV Export File. How can that be accomplished? Cheers

Is there an option with adding a device with a pre-built configuration without having to be online for discovery? It will be used for path maps usage, but the customer didn’t want netbrain to have access to a few boxes on the network. We are talking about a few sites compared to the several thousand assets we have been able to discover. We didn’t want to have the situation where a gap in path calculations can occur.I am also thinking this could be useful for test environments to see how traffic will transverse the network.  Thoughts? 

Hello,can API node (blue cloud) retake or incept variable or column or column attributer from previous nodes?Not cleat what "Paramaters” are used for. No docs found.My use case is to process group of devices with REST API calls but I need to distinguish last device in que is being processed so final API call at the end with consolidated values can be triggered. Thanks 

I have a path drawing from A-Z, how can I make it show active gre-tunnels as well on the same drawing only for Z device?I am also trying to recall how to add new node/ device on current path map and see connections from/to it? I have done that before but cannot recall it. Thanks

I have been dabbling with the Qapp Python scripting lately and i want to build a qapp wherein the user can have multiple end device ips as input and have their L2 connected switch and L3 Gateways automatically drawn on the map using one-ip-table information. However, looks like the gateways cannot be resolved by one ip table that’s why it is not being drawn. Then i noticed when the end device is drawn, i am able to see the L3 neighbor by extending the plus sign. Is there a Qapp API or a combination of them that can see the L3 neighbor? Hi NetBrain,is NB in any version affected by the log4j vulnerability? I know that ElasticSearch uses it but not in what version of the library.

Hi,I’m using Netbrain 10.0a and the Rest API to get the One-IP table. API returns serverType and switchType by their ID but I want the full name. serverType string The type of the device that the IP belongs to. switchType string The type of the switch that the IP connects to.  I found old Netbrain documentations on the net about IDs and their name. For example: 2004 = Cisco Nexus SwitchBut I can’t find the information for these IDs :1005100930080Can someone help me? Thank you. 

We have a scenario where we are trying to search for a Cisco VoIP device using the standard search box on the dashboard. We have the switches added to Netbrain but the VoIP phones are not. The the sake of this example the devices hostname is SEP010203ABCDEF and it’s MAC address is 01:02:03:AB:CD:EF. The Hostname for a Cisco VoIP phone is usually SEP followed by the MAC address without any punctuation. The NDP table on the switch has the information to show that the device is a neighbour so in some capacity Netbrain could be aware of the name.. Searching for SEP010203ABCDEF reveals no results. Searching for 010203ABCDEF reveals no results Searching for 0102.03AB.CDEF returns a direct match in the ARP cache of the switch Searching for 01:02:03:AB:CD:EF returns a match for the MAC in the cisco format above in the ARP cache of the switch The ideal here is to search for the hostname in the easiest and quickest way p

I want to reinstall the database server but when I am installation the Netbrain latest v10 it is showing me the following below error:  A previous version has been installed. I already uninstalled the mongodb and other related services from the server but still getting this error. Don't want to upgrade database just want to do wipe all the netbrain configuration 

I have maybe a strange request.  To help support audit and compliance reporting, I want to create an inventory report for each of my maps that I can export from the product.I see that in the reporting interface I have a report that will export all devices, but how to do I create something on a site-by-site basis?Thanks in advance!

Hi all , I am reaching to out to forum for assistance  on managing ICMP only enabled devices. I am working on architecture for laying out diagnostic approach for set of 60k devices. Out of 60 , i have 16K devices which are only ICMP enable by customer due to various security limitations and compliance. NO SNMP& SSH to these 16kK Device. During discovery will there 16K devices consume NB license as usual ? What all capabilities diagnostics approach will be present by ICMP only connection . Can these ICMP only devices contribute to effective diagnostic capability what Netbrain has to offer,  Any suggestion /recommendation to manage this set of devices is welcome and appreciated by community. RegardPrateek

try to create the parser, no SNMP type to select, only CLI command or configuration. It was there in previous version.

I am currently learning how to write Parsers and Qapps. I am running into a problem with my Qapp. I am not getting the desired result when I run my Qapp against any current Baseline (Configuration) or Live Data. I am getting the following messages in the execution log: 1   3:59:15 PM: Start to run Qapp "Cisco_IOS_XE_Switch_Compliance_Check"2   3:59:22 PM: Run Qapp on 0 device group(s), 0 site(s), 0 path(s), xxx device(s)3   3:59:22 PM: Run Qapp on xxx qualified devices4   3:59:22 PM: The Process Id is 243123.5   3:59:23 PM: No data for "NET_DEVICE_1337 + Cisco_IOS_XE_Switch_Compliance_Check".
