I want to reinstall the database server but when I am installation the Netbrain latest v10 it is showing me the following below error:  A previous version has been installed. I already uninstalled the mongodb and other related services from the server but still getting this error. Don't want to upgrade database just want to do wipe all the netbrain configuration 

I have maybe a strange request.  To help support audit and compliance reporting, I want to create an inventory report for each of my maps that I can export from the product.I see that in the reporting interface I have a report that will export all devices, but how to do I create something on a site-by-site basis?Thanks in advance!

Hi all , I am reaching to out to forum for assistance  on managing ICMP only enabled devices. I am working on architecture for laying out diagnostic approach for set of 60k devices. Out of 60 , i have 16K devices which are only ICMP enable by customer due to various security limitations and compliance. NO SNMP& SSH to these 16kK Device. During discovery will there 16K devices consume NB license as usual ? What all capabilities diagnostics approach will be present by ICMP only connection . Can these ICMP only devices contribute to effective diagnostic capability what Netbrain has to offer,  Any suggestion /recommendation to manage this set of devices is welcome and appreciated by community. RegardPrateek

I found some sensitive info has not been encrypted as ***, what should be the reason?As I know we have an option in advanced setting of the domain management page, but I dont know how to confiugre it.  

try to create the parser, no SNMP type to select, only CLI command or configuration. It was there in previous version.

Is there way to monitor or log users’ actives in Netbrain? Such as adding devices to Netbrain or removing them from Netbrain?

Greetings,I am new to NetBrain. I am currently learning how to write Parsers and Qapps. I am running into a problem with my Qapp. I am not getting the desired result when I run my Qapp against any current Baseline (Configuration) or Live Data. I am getting the following messages in the execution log: 1   3:59:15 PM: Start to run Qapp "Cisco_IOS_XE_Switch_Compliance_Check"2   3:59:22 PM: Run Qapp on 0 device group(s), 0 site(s), 0 path(s), xxx device(s)3   3:59:22 PM: Run Qapp on xxx qualified devices4   3:59:22 PM: The Process Id is 243123.5   3:59:23 PM: No data for "NET_DEVICE_1337 + Cisco_IOS_XE_Switch_Compliance_Check". The historical data of the device and parser does not exist in the database. What am I missing? Best Regards Dave

When I tried to discover my Cisco router, it didn’t give me the CLI configuration file… I can see from the log that there is an error “Connecting failed, error code: 1080, error description: Timeout.”.Is there any setting I can change to make it work?

I have a router that failed to retrieve route table, the live access checks fine. The retrieval log says following, how can I increase the route table entry limit to retrieve the route table? The number of entries(156321) in the route table cmd show route table inet.0|no-more exceeds the limit of route entries.

As a strategical decision can we use NetBrain as a Config management tool for devices it manages, config versioning and all.Configuration drift can be detected by end user ?

Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to record and compare the differences in route tables over time for any router on our WAN. We use BGP so not sure if that makes any differnce as it should be just a show command and output of text from the CLI. I want to have a way to look back to see what changed on the device config (if at all) and the state of the live RIB vs the last saved/benchmarked RIB. If any of this is even possible could it be done as part of a scheduled task and some sort of alert to notify that something has changed? Thanks in advance.

Hi guys,We cannot discover devices via Linux Jumpbox. The discovery log shows below:Front Server CLI timeout(30 seconds), disconnect to Jumpbox x.x.x.x target device y.y.y.y, last received: [Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no)?]Try to set the Yes/No Prompt, still not working. Any ideas how to resolve it?

Hello team, I would like to compare command output in two different scenarios.How to compare same command output from two different devices? and how to compare same command output from single device?

I’m reasonably familiar with python and other automation frameworks like Ansible. I’m trying replicate existing functionality we have via a python script within Netbrain via a Qapp. My plan is to pull data from devices and to manipulate the output with Python before returning a table/CSV to the user. I’m finding it fairly frustrating to get started with the python element in terms of feeding the data into the python script and outputting the data. Are there any good resources for learning this element or any code samples? The documentation I’ve seen doesn’t appear to focus on this element at all.

Where can I download the supplied NetBrain Qapps?  I inadvertently deleted one of them.

Hi all,I have a list of 50+ devices (hostnames) in a file which I would like to add to a single map. They are spread among many existing groups. Is there a way how to have them added to a map all at once? Like “Add to a map every hostname from this csv file” kind of at once.Or do I have to add them one by one from search menu?Related question, once I am finished with discovery process in domain management, is there a way to immediately put all discovered devices into a single map?Thank you for your timeJan Dudic
