Configuring Azure SSO external authentication currently requires administrators to follow a multi-step manual process that can be difficult to complete correctly without close guidance. This enhancement would introduce a more guided, streamlined configuration workflow for setting up Azure SSO, such as clearer in-product steps or validation checks during setup. Customers implementing SSO would benefit from reduced configuration errors and faster, more reliable deployment of external authentication.
NetBrain currently does not support scheduling a Network Intent to run repeatedly at a fixed interval within a defined daily time window; existing scheduling options only allow a single run time or basic recurrence, without the ability to specify a start and end time paired with an execution frequency. This enhancement would allow users to configure a Network Intent to execute automatically at a set interval (such as every hour) between a defined start and end time each day. Supporting this level of scheduling granularity would reduce the need for manual intent execution during business hours and enable more consistent, hands-off monitoring throughout the day.
NetBrain currently provides no way to replace a specific device on a customized map with a different device while automatically preserving that device's position, layout, and existing Layer 2/Layer 3 link connections. Customers with large numbers of customized maps must manually delete the old device and re-create its position and links each time a device is decommissioned and replaced. This enhancement would introduce a search-and-replace capability that lets a user locate a device across one or more maps and substitute it with a new device, carrying over the original position and all associated links. Customers undertaking large-scale hardware transitions, such as replacing firewalls or switches across many sites, would significantly reduce manual map rework and accelerate device lifecycle changes.
NetBrain currently displays Intent status messages in ADT in the order they are generated, without any option to prioritize error messages ahead of informational ones. When an error occurs, users must scroll through the message list within the status column to locate the message that explains why the result turned red. This enhancement would add a configurable option to sequence messages within the Intent status column so that error messages appear before informational or successful messages. Surfacing error messages first would reduce the time required to diagnose failed intent results, particularly in large automated data tables with many rows.
NetBrain currently permits a single System Administrator to create a new user account without any secondary review, which leaves organizations unable to enforce separation-of-duties controls over account provisioning. This enhancement would introduce a configurable approval workflow requiring a second System Administrator to review and approve any newly created user account before it becomes active, regardless of the method used to create it. Organizations with strict security audit requirements would benefit from stronger governance over account provisioning, reducing the risk of a single administrator creating unauthorized accounts for themselves or others.
NetBrain currently does not show neighbor device information when a user expands a device to view its sub-interfaces on a topology map; neighbor data is only visible at the physical interface level. This enhancement would extend neighbor discovery and display logic so that sub-interfaces show their connected neighbor devices in the same way physical interfaces do. Customers who model both physical and logical sub-interface connections on their maps would gain complete topology visibility, reducing manual investigation when tracing logical connections.
The Tenant Management list and the Front Server Controller list do not display their entries in alphabetical order, requiring administrators to scan unsorted lists to locate a specific tenant or front server. This enhancement would apply alphabetical ordering to both lists so that entries are easier to locate. Customers managing environments with many tenants or front servers would benefit from reduced time spent searching these lists and a more consistent administrative experience.
NetBrain currently does not remove access points from the system when their associated wireless LAN controller is deleted, leaving orphaned access point entries behind. This enhancement would introduce a function to automatically identify and delete access points that are tied to a wireless LAN controller once that controller is removed. Customers managing environments with frequent controller changes would benefit from reduced manual cleanup and a system view that reflects only active devices.
The Change Analysis Report currently does not offer an option to exclude ignored or unchanged rules from its output, requiring users to manually filter through the full rule list to identify meaningful changes. This enhancement would add a configuration option allowing users to generate a report that includes only added, deleted, and changed rules, omitting ignored and unchanged entries. Customers managing large device inventories would benefit from a more focused report that surfaces only actionable changes, reducing manual review effort.
The Compare Tool currently caps displayed results at 5000 changed lines, and when configuration differences exceed this threshold, only the changed rows up to the limit are shown along with an error message rather than the complete comparison. This enhancement proposes raising or making configurable the maximum line limit so that full configuration differences can be reviewed without truncation. Customers rely on complete change comparisons to audit configuration history and correlate changes to their full context, and removing this artificial ceiling would allow accurate, complete audit and change analysis reporting for larger configuration files.
Summary Dashboards currently present results only as raw numbers, without an option to display values as percentages. This enhancement would allow Summary Dashboard results to be shown in percentage format in addition to or instead of numeric counts. Presenting data as percentages would give management-level stakeholders a clearer, faster overview of network status when reviewing dashboards.
NetBrain currently does not collect MAC table data from Cambium Microwave Radio devices, since the driver lacks support for the relevant command used to retrieve this information. This enhancement would extend the driver to collect the MAC learning table, consistent with how similar data is gathered from comparable device drivers. Adding this capability would allow NetBrain to accurately discover Layer 2 connections involving Cambium Microwave Radio devices, improving topology completeness for customers operating microwave backhaul links.
