Read-Only Login Mode Option for Administrators

NetBrain currently does not provide administrators with an option to log in using a read-only session mode. All administrator sessions carry full edit permissions, which increases the risk of unintended changes to devices, maps, or configurations during routine review or troubleshooting activities. This enhancement would introduce a login-time selection allowing an administrator to choose a read-only mode for the session, restricting the ability to make changes while still permitting full visibility into the environment. This capability would reduce the risk of accidental modifications and give administrators a safer way to perform inspection or diagnostic tasks without affecting production configurations.
