NetBrain currently relies on CLI-based or SNMP-based polling to retrieve BGP routing information and does not support BMP (BGP Monitoring Protocol) as a data collection method for BGP route monitoring. This enhancement would add BMP support, allowing NetBrain to receive real-time BGP route updates and state changes directly from routers configured as BMP stations. Customers with large or dynamic BGP environments would benefit from more timely and lower-overhead BGP route visibility, reducing dependence on repeated polling and improving the accuracy of route change detection.

Chat Bot automation currently executes only one Network Intent at a time, even when multiple intents share a matching tag or are selected together within an Automated Data Table. This enhancement would allow multiple intents to be triggered and run concurrently, either through tag-based matching or by selecting multiple intents within the ADT for simultaneous execution. Enabling concurrent intent execution would allow end users to perform multiple diagnostic checks in a single automation cycle, reducing troubleshooting time and improving overall efficiency of automated workflows.

When installing rules through Rule Discovery, users must manually unselect each rule individually if they only want to install a subset, such as vendor-specific rules. This enhancement would add an 'Unselect All' or 'Clear Selection' action to the Config Rule Template selection interface, allowing the full list to be cleared in a single action before filtering and selecting the desired rules. Customers installing targeted rule subsets would benefit from a faster, less error-prone selection workflow.

NetBrain's Change Management module currently requires an approval step for every change task regardless of whether the change is classified as service-impacting or non-service-impacting, which can delay routine maintenance activities that carry minimal risk. This enhancement would allow administrators to designate certain change templates or tasks as non-service-impacting and permit those changes to be executed without requiring approval, while retaining the approval requirement for changes that carry service impact. Reducing unnecessary approval overhead for low-risk, routine changes would allow teams to execute maintenance work more efficiently while preserving governance controls for changes that carry higher risk.

NetBrain currently requires each Golden Intent to be scheduled individually, with no option to configure scheduling across multiple intents at once. This enhancement would allow users to select multiple Golden Intents and apply or update scheduling settings simultaneously in a single action. Customers managing large numbers of Golden Intents would benefit from reduced administrative effort and faster configuration of recurring checks.

NetBrain currently does not automatically propagate device inventory updates across all nodes in a clustered deployment, requiring administrators to manually verify and synchronize device changes between environments. This enhancement would allow device additions, removals, or updates to be automatically reflected across all cluster nodes without manual intervention. Customers operating multiple synchronized environments would benefit from consistent device visibility and reduced administrative effort in maintaining cluster parity.

NetBrain's discovery and benchmark drivers for Cisco IOS Switch, Cisco Router, and Cisco SD-WAN Router devices currently issue the standard 'show running-config' command, which does not return default or implicit configuration parameters that some configuration assessment workflows require. This enhancement would introduce a driver option to retrieve configuration using 'show running-config all' instead, configurable so that it persists reliably across patches and upgrades and does not affect other tenants or customers in shared environments. Customers who rely on configuration assessment rule sets that depend on complete configuration detail, including default values, would benefit from consistent and accurate results without needing manual driver modifications after each upgrade.

NetBrain currently requires users to manually extract diagnosis results from a Network Intent or automation unit and use them to define a corrective change within the Change Management module, with execution initiated separately by the user. This enhancement would allow diagnosis results from an Intent or automation unit to automatically trigger creation of a change runbook, populate the required change definition, and route the change for approval; once approved, the change would execute automatically to resolve the identified issue. Customers performing proactive corrective maintenance or incident remediation would benefit from a fully automated, approval-gated workflow that reduces manual effort and accelerates issue resolution.

NetBrain currently requires users to manually assign Layout Tags to individual devices, even when those devices belong to a defined device group. When a device group's membership changes, such as new devices being added or existing devices removed, the associated tags do not update automatically, requiring repeated manual effort to keep tagging accurate. This enhancement proposes allowing a Layout Tag to be associated directly with a device group so that any device added to the group automatically inherits the tag, and any device removed from the group has the tag automatically removed. Customers managing large or frequently changing device groups would benefit from consistent, up-to-date tagging without ongoing manual maintenance.

The audit log currently does not provide sufficient detail to identify the exact nature of a change made within the system, making it difficult for administrators to trace specific modifications. This enhancement would expand audit log entries to capture granular details of each change, such as the specific field, setting, or configuration element affected and its before-and-after values. Administrators would benefit from improved visibility into system changes, supporting faster troubleshooting and more accurate compliance and change management reviews.

The Task Manager page in System Management currently only displays scheduled Discovery and Benchmark jobs, and this view cannot be sorted by last run time. Scheduled QApp, DVT/Parser, and Plugin jobs are not visible in this same interface, making it difficult for administrators to get a complete picture of all scheduled activity. This enhancement proposes expanding the Task Manager to list all scheduled job types, including QApp, DVT/Parser, Plugin, Benchmark, and Discovery, in a single consolidated table. The table should support sorting by last run time and allow administrators to pause individual jobs. This would give administrators a centralized way to review and manage scheduled workloads, which is particularly valuable when planning system upgrades or maintenance windows that require pausing scheduled activity in advance.

We use inventory reports to gather data on our network and would like some of our other tools to use that data as well for management dashboards.  It would be great to get this data via inventory reports.

NetBrain does not currently provide drivers to discover and manage certain Tier 1 network devices, including Ciena MCP and Virtuora platforms, which prevents these devices from being brought into automation and topology workflows. This enhancement would add driver and adapter support for these device types, enabling discovery, benchmarking, and topology construction consistent with other supported platforms. Customers operating this equipment would benefit from complete network visibility and reduced manual effort in mapping and managing these devices.

NetBrain's Change Management module currently integrates with Ansible worker servers but does not support direct integration with Ansible Tower. Customers whose Ansible Tower sits above their worker servers cannot call worker servers directly, and must rely on custom API-based workarounds to interact with Tower instead of using the Change Management module natively. This enhancement would add native Change Management support for Ansible Tower as an integration target, allowing jobs to be executed against Tower directly rather than through underlying worker servers. Direct Tower integration would remove the need for custom adapters, streamline playbook execution, and provide the execution and reporting data that customers use to demonstrate automation efficiency, cost savings, and time savings to leadership.

Inventory Reports currently support only two fixed subfolders, Shared Reports and Private Reports, with no option to create additional folders or organize reports into a nested hierarchy. This enhancement would allow users to create custom folders and subfolders within Inventory Reports to organize saved reports according to their own structure. Customers managing a large number of reports would benefit from improved organization and faster navigation when locating specific reports.

In v8 we were able to remove multiple commands at once using Ctrl-click, and do it for multiple devices simultaneously. In v10 we can only remove the commands one by one, and need to repeat it for every device in the list. Can we please go back (or have an option to switch) to v8 functionality when it comes to executing batch CLI commands?

NetBrain does not currently support applying a set of individually distinct configuration scripts to a large group of devices in a single bulk operation; today's change execution workflows generally assume a common command set or template applied across selected devices. This enhancement would allow a user to provide a collection of individual command/script files, each mapped to a specific target device, and have NetBrain log into each device and apply its corresponding script as part of one execution job. This would allow network teams managing large numbers of devices with unique, per-device configuration changes to complete bulk updates efficiently and consistently, without manually executing each script one device at a time.

NetBrain's ServiceNow Automation section currently lists diagnosis entries without prioritizing the most recent result, requiring users to scroll through the list to locate the latest diagnosis. This enhancement would reorder the automation section so that the most recent diagnosis appears at the top. Surfacing the latest diagnosis first would reduce the time support teams spend reviewing current findings during incident triage.

NetBrain currently displays its tab on every ServiceNow incident once the integration is enabled, regardless of whether NetBrain has performed any automation or added diagnostic value to that incident. This enhancement would introduce logic to show the NetBrain tab only on incidents where NetBrain has executed automation or contributed relevant data. Limiting tab visibility to value-added incidents would reduce clutter for ServiceNow users and help teams quickly identify which incidents received NetBrain analysis.

NetBrain currently allows Domain Health Reports to be generated manually, but does not provide an option to schedule recurring generation and automatic email delivery of these reports. This enhancement would add a scheduling capability, allowing users to configure Health Reports to run on a recurring basis (such as daily or weekly) and be automatically emailed to designated recipients. This would support proactive system monitoring and reduce the manual effort required to regularly check and distribute health status information.
