NetBrain currently does not provide a way to define a Change Management runbook directly from an external YAML file. Users must manually build pre-check, configuration, and post-validation steps within the runbook interface, even when device-specific command logic already exists in a structured external format. This enhancement would introduce a script or API-based mechanism to translate a YAML file into a NetBrain runbook, automatically generating pre-check, configuration, and post-validation steps based on the YAML definition. Customers managing change processes across diverse device types would benefit from faster runbook creation, reduced manual configuration effort, and closer alignment with existing configuration-as-code practices.
