NetBrain currently has no method to automatically use an alternate set of device credentials when the primary credential fails authentication during Live Access, Benchmark, Network Intent, QApp, or DVT operations. In scenarios where a device falls back to local authentication due to an unreachable authentication server, device access fails entirely even though the device remains reachable, requiring administrators to manually tune credentials until the underlying authentication issue is resolved. This enhancement would introduce a secondary credential field within Shared Device Settings, configurable at the device group level, that NetBrain would automatically attempt when the primary credential fails to authenticate. This capability would allow customers to maintain continuous device access during intermittent authentication server issues without repeated manual credential tuning or re-discovery.
