NetBrain currently enforces CLI command data retrieval rules (include, exclude, startWith) through a single global configuration that applies uniformly across all scenarios and all device types. This means administrators cannot permit a command in one context, such as Change Management, while restricting the same command in another context, such as Runbook or Deep Diagnosis, and cannot apply a restriction to one device type without unintentionally affecting others. This enhancement would introduce a rule structure that allows command permissions to be defined and overridden at the scenario level and the device-type level, rather than through a single global rule. Customers with diverse operational workflows and mixed device environments would gain more precise control over which commands are permitted in each context, reducing the risk of unintended restrictions or overly permissive access.
