Automated diagnosis reports currently generate persistent failure messages, such as loop-detected or lack-of-related-information errors, in scenarios that reflect normal network behavior rather than actual problems. Common cases include asymmetric traffic flow where return traffic legitimately does not retrace the forward path, and passive high-availability firewall nodes that lack routing protocol visibility by design. This enhancement would extend the diagnosis logic to recognize these topology and failover patterns, or alternatively provide a mechanism to filter known false-positive failure categories from diagnostic report output. Reducing this message noise would improve customer confidence in automated diagnosis results and reduce the manual effort required to distinguish genuine failures from expected network behavior.
