NetBrain currently requires administrators to manually add individual user accounts to a Device Access Policy, with no option to bind policy membership to an external authentication (LDAP) group. As a result, whenever a new user joins the relevant LDAP group, an administrator must manually update the policy definition to grant equivalent access. This enhancement would allow administrators to define Device Access Policy membership by LDAP group rather than by individual user account, so that group membership changes are automatically reflected in policy access. Customers managing access through centralized LDAP groups would benefit from reduced administrative overhead and more consistent, timely access control as their user base changes.
