NetBrain servers, including web, front, and worker servers, currently require IPv4 connectivity and do not support installation or operation in an IPv6-only network environment. Attempting to enable IPv6 on these servers without retaining IPv4 results in application instability, and enabling IPv6 alongside IPv4 has been observed to degrade web server response time. This enhancement would add native support for IPv6-only configurations across NetBrain server components, allowing the application to install and run correctly without requiring a dual-stack or IPv4 fallback. Customers operating under IPv6-only infrastructure mandates would be able to deploy and maintain NetBrain without compatibility workarounds, supporting long-term network modernization initiatives.
