NetBrain maps currently render devices against a neutral background using logical or custom layout positioning, without any geographic reference or integration with mapping services. Customers cannot view devices plotted according to their real-world physical location. This enhancement would introduce geolocation capability, allowing devices to be displayed on a geographic map (such as a street or regional map layer) based on their physical coordinates, with support for panning and zooming similar to standard mapping applications. This capability would be valuable for organizations, such as service providers, that manage geographically distributed infrastructure and need to quickly correlate device location with physical service areas during troubleshooting.
