NetBrain's path calculation currently applies special next-hop-as-cloud handling only when the next-hop IP is undiscovered or unknown. When the next-hop IP resolves to a known end_system device, this logic does not trigger, leaving MPLS and Cloud Peering connectivity paths unresolved even though comparable VPN scenarios with static and BGP routing are already supported. This enhancement would extend cloud-based path calculation support to MPLS and Cloud Peering connectivity for both static and BGP routing, including proper resolution of ingress interface and next-hop details when the next hop is an end_system rather than an unknown endpoint. Customers operating WAN environments that combine VPN and MPLS/Cloud Peering connectivity would gain consistent, accurate end-to-end path visibility across all supported WAN connection types, reducing manual troubleshooting effort for broken or asymmetric paths.
