NetBrain currently stores password values entered in certain built-in plugin input fields as plain text, making these credentials visible to anyone with access to the plugin configuration. This enhancement proposes encrypting password-type input values within plugin configurations rather than storing them in plain text. Encrypting these values would reduce the risk of credential exposure and help customers meet security and compliance requirements around sensitive data handling.
