NetBrain currently provides a pathing tool that displays the actual path an application takes through the network, but there is no map type that allows a user to define the expected path an application should take and visually compare it against the actual observed path. This enhancement would add an application/port map type that lays out both the expected and actual paths for an application, with the ability to run runbooks or queries directly against the comparison to surface configuration errors. Customers would gain a faster way to identify discrepancies between intended and actual traffic flow, reducing manual troubleshooting effort and improving confidence in network configuration accuracy.
