The Discovery Task Seeds API currently accepts only single /32 IP addresses as seed values, requiring users to submit individual host addresses one at a time when triggering discovery tasks programmatically. This limitation prevents customers from supplying larger network ranges or lists of subnets directly through the API, forcing manual conversion or entry when integrating with external sources such as IP address management systems. This enhancement would extend the Discovery Task Seeds API to accept network ranges or CIDR blocks, in addition to single IP addresses, as valid seed input. Customers building automated discovery workflows would be able to submit subnet-level data directly from their network of record, reducing manual effort and enabling more complete and scalable API-driven discovery.
