NetBrain currently does not provide a mechanism to alert administrators when data retrieval time for a device exceeds a statistically derived threshold, such as the average retrieval time plus or minus a standard deviation. Administrators must manually review retrieval performance to identify devices experiencing abnormal delays. This enhancement would introduce automated alerting that flags devices whose data retrieval time deviates significantly from historical norms, using statistical measures to define the threshold. Customers managing large or performance-sensitive environments would benefit from earlier detection of retrieval anomalies, reducing troubleshooting time and improving overall monitoring reliability.
