NetBrain recently introduced its first Agentic NetOps platform during the NetBrain 12.3 webinar, featuring CTO Song Pang, VP of Global Services David Mann, and Raj Jain, Manager of Automation Experience Engineering.
The session focused on a challenge many network teams face: most of their time is spent troubleshooting incidents and keeping the network running. NetBrain’s goal is to change that by combining AI, automation, and network context to help teams resolve issues faster and prevent outages before they happen.
The platform focuses on three key areas: incidents, network problems, and changes, all aimed at helping organizations reduce network downtime by 50% year over year.
During the presentation, several new capabilities in NetBrain 12.3 were demonstrated:
-
Runbook AI Companion – analyzes runbook results and summarizes findings to help engineers identify root causes and recommended next steps
-
Deep Diagnosis Agent – automatically plans troubleshooting workflows, gathers data across devices, and iterates until the issue is identified
-
ITSM Integration – connect with platforms like ServiceNow so tickets can trigger automated diagnostics before an engineer even opens them
-
Trigger Automation – automatically run diagnostics when alerts or incidents are detected
-
AI-generated remediation suggestions – propose configuration changes or fixes based on analysis
Another highlight was Quick Assessments, which allows teams to check whether the same issue exists elsewhere in the network and understand what other applications could be impacted.
These capabilities are powered by NetBrain’s digital twin of the network and intent-based automation, giving AI the context it needs to analyze real network conditions and assist engineers more effectively.
