Network operations rarely live in a single tool. Real networks behave more like ecosystems than neat little silos. Hardware teams track racks and power, network teams chase packets, and operations teams want dashboards that tell the truth without requiring a PhD in routing tables.

That’s the reality NetBrain is built for.

At NetBrain LIVE 2025, one of our engineers showed how NetBrain integrates with NetBox and Grafana—not to replace them, but to connect them. The demo showed how NetBrain can pull physical infrastructure data from NetBox, enrich it with real-time network intelligence, and expose that combined view through Grafana dashboards.

The architecture is simple but powerful:

NetBox manages physical infrastructure data like rack position, airflow, and power.
NetBrain acts as the operational source of truth by collecting live network data and validating behavior.
Grafana becomes the visualization layer where teams across the organization can see trusted dashboards without needing direct access to operational tools.

In the demo, once NetBrain pulled metadata from NetBox and updated its Automation Data Table, the Grafana dashboard refreshed automatically—turning a device indicator from red to green as the data synced.

Physical data, real-time network intelligence, and shared visibility working together. It’s not about replacing existing systems. It’s about connecting them so teams operate from the same source of truth.
