Existing Domain Setup wrong?

I inherited a Netbrain installation when I was hired and am now coming to the realization that it was setup incorrectly. We are a large company of companies. Currently we have 1 domain under 1 tenant. If I’m wanting to limit the scope that I.T. teams from sub-companies would have to other sub-companies devices and data, I should have multiple domains for each sub-company correct?

Hi @jsanders@hecla-mining.com

1 domain for 1 company is 1 option. You may consider the Device Access Policy feature.  Please see below:

Hi Jsanders,

please note that whensplitting up your environment into different tenants and/or domains you will probably lose the interconnectivity of your sub-companies in NetBrain. If you need that interconnectivity in your NetBrain instance, this will probably not be an option.

@Gerry.zhang : am I correct?

Carsten, You are Right. Thanks.

Ahhhh, I assumed connectivity would only be affected with multiple tenants. I was going to leave 1 tenant and multiple domains and hoped to continue the same connectivity for our corporate I.T. team. Thank you gentlemen. I’ll focus on the Device Access Policy.
